Jessie Danielson Earns More Labor Endorsements

“A citizen Representative for our state, our members, and her community.”

 Wheat Ridge, CO—Democratic State House candidate Jessie Danielson’s campaign announced more endorsements from the labor community today. Danielson is running for the state legislature in House District 24, in northeast Jefferson County, Colorado.

Denver Plumbers Local No. 3, the Transportation Division of the SMART Union, and Colorado Workers for Innovative and New Solutions (WINS) have all endorsed Danielson’s campaign. Colorado WINS Executive Director Tim Markham commented:

“The working families of Colorado WINS are proud to endorse Jessie Danielson for HD-24. WINS represents state employees who serve Colorado and support communities across the state. We know Jessie will be a champion for the issues that matter to WINS members and all middle class Coloradans—fairer pay, better working conditions, a dignified retirement and access to affordable health care. We look forward to supporting her in her campaign to become a citizen Representative for our state, our members, and her community.”

Danielson has already been endorsed by the Mile Hi Branch No. 47 of the National Association of Letter Carriers.

Jessie Danielson serves as State Director for America Votes. She was appointed by Governor Hickenlooper to the Voter Access and Modernized Election Commission to oversee implementation of election law and is a long-time advocate for greater access for everyone in the political process. She also chairs the board of Emerge Colorado, an organization that encourages and trains Democratic women to run for office, and she serves on the boards of NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado and ProgressNow Colorado. Danielson is a former statewide political director for NARAL Pro-Choice Colorado.
